RHS Sizes for Fencing & Fabrication
A trade reference for the rectangular hollow section sizes used most across the Australian fencing industry.
Specification & Supply
RHS is used through Australian fencing for rails, gate frames, panel framework, light commercial structures and brackets. The sizes below cover 90% of the fencing-industry range — supplied to AS/NZS 1163 in pre-galvanised, black and hot-dip galvanised finishes. Larger structural RHS sizes are available subject to availability and mill rolling schedule.
- 50×25 RHS — gate stiffeners, panel framework, light rails
- 65×35 RHS — mid-weight rails and gate frames
- 75×50 RHS — commercial top and bottom rails, fabricated gate frames
- 100×50 RHS — heavy commercial rails, gate frames, infrastructure fencing
- Wall thickness 1.6mm to 4.0mm covers the fencing range
- Available pre-galv, HDG after fabrication, and black
